At zeitkapsl, we believe your photos should belong only to you. That’s why we’re building a privacy-first photo storage service — something that feels as effortless as Google Photos, but without the trade-off of giving your life away.

We’ve spent the past few years designing and building the technical foundation. The product is live, and people who care about privacy already use it. Now we’re looking for a co-founder who can help us bring this mission to more people — through thoughtful growth, authentic storytelling, and the right partnerships.

All position can be internships, bachelor/master thesis, part time contracts or freelancing opportunities.

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Shape zeitkapsl’s brand voice and presence across social and community channels.
  • Build organic growth channels — newsletters, partnerships, privacy communities.
  • Develop reseller and B2B collaborations with aligned organizations.
  • Represent zeitkapsl at events and networks in tech, privacy, or sustainability.
  • Help refine our go-to-market strategy and feedback loop between users and product.
  • Turn our vision into communication that builds trust and long-term relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience with modern Android development
  • You write fluent Kotlin
  • You’re highly proficient with:
    • Jetpack Compose
    • Material Design
    • Koin

  • You understand how to write performant Compose code

Requirements

  • Experience with software development in Go
    • go std-lib
    • go toolchain
    • go modules and packages
  • You know how to write robust and performant Go code
  • cgo and interoperability with other programming languages
  • Good knowledge of symmetric cryptography:
    • AES-GCM, HKDF, PBKDF2, BCRYPT
  • SQLite integrations, ideally using sqlc
  • Open API / REST definitions, and HTTP
