Quickly import your photo library from external disks or your computer. You can also keep a full local backup of all your zeitkapsl data.

For Intel based macs please install brew with the following packages:

brew install vips ffmpeg libheif

and then download this version instead.

currently we support Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 24.04

If you are using a different Linux distribution, all our clients are open source. You can always build it from source as well.

If you prefer running zeitkapsl from the command line on your server, we support that too.

Make sure ffmpeg and vipsthumbnail are installed and available in your path.
