zeitkapsl is a privacy-first cloud service for storing and sharing your photos and videos. It works across devices (mobile, web, etc.) and automatically backs up your media in their original quality while keeping everything end-to-end encrypted so only you can see it — not the provider.

the name ​

The name zeitkapsl is derived from the German word Zeitkapsel, meaning “time capsule.” Founded by two friends from Carinthia, Austria, the product embraces its European roots with a subtle nod to the Austrian dialect, where the final “e” is often omitted.

only you can see it ​

Privacy isn't a feature it's the foundation. All your pictures and videos are end-to-end encrypted. In short this means that only you can see your pictures. Not us, not third parties — just you.
