Settings

Within the Settings menu, you can manage your backup preferences, including whether backups run automatically and whether mobile data may be used for backups. You can also select which folders on your device should be included in the backup.

There are two ways to access the settings:

Web Application: Navigate directly to settings from any page while signed in to the account.

Mobile Application: Tap the gear icon. within the app to open the Settings menu and manage account preferences.

Backups

When automatic backup is enabled, the application continuously synchronizes the selected media folders in the background. The chosen folders are kept up to date automatically, without requiring any further interaction.

By default, backups are set to run only over a Wi-Fi connection. If desired, they can be configured to also use mobile data, allowing flexibility based on connectivity and data preferences.

Media (Folders)

The application can back up media from specific folders on the device. By default, it scans standard media folders such as Camera, Screenshots, and Downloads, but additional folders can also be included if desired.

Within the backup settings, folders can be selected or deselected to control which photos and videos are synchronized, giving full flexibility over what is backed up.

Privacy

Privacy options are available as well. You can control whether media details display GPS location data. When location display is enabled and the information is available, a map view with a pinpoint will indicate where the photo was taken.
