Account Sharing / Storage share

Your account storage can be securely shared with others through an invitation link, allowing multiple users to collaborate under a single subscription — with the number of users depending on the selected plan.

Sending invitations

To invite others, go to Settings and send invitations directly from there. You can send invitations up to the limit included in your current subscription plan. Once all available invitations have been used, you will need to upgrade your plan to invite additional users.

Accepting invitations

The invited user gets an e-mail with a unique register link that will link it to your account.

Sharing

By default, nothing except the storage space is shared. They are no different than any other two zeitkapsl accounts.

In case the paying account cancels the subscription, the affected accounts get an e-mail notification that offers them to create their own subscription.

If no subscription is selected, the accounts will be deleted after two weeks notice.

Shared Albums

You can share albums be creating a share link for an album.

The receiving user needs to be logged in in the web app and click Accept Share which is right below the cover image of the shared album.

From then on the album is shared between both accounts.

What happens if the main (paying) account is cancelled, will I lose all my photos?

No, of course not. If the main account is cancelled, you will get a notification via e-mail stating that you have now have two weeks to create a subscription for your existing account on your own. You can do that in your account settings

If you don't subscribe to any of our products, your account will be closed along with the main (paying) account.
